WHAT DOES a postpartum doula do?
As a real mom who has been through it, I understand how exciting AND overwhelming it can be to welcome a new baby into your life. It doesn't matter whether you have a biological child, gone through surrogacy, have adopted, or anything in between - every new parent needs help during this beautiful transition. You deserve to be taken care of as you pour yourself into your little one, and that's where a postpartum doula comes in.
I offer a range of services to support new parents during this time. The postpartum nutrition services ensure that you are getting the nutrients you need to recover from childbirth and have the energy to care for your baby. I also provide light family meal prep services to make sure that you and your family have healthy, home-cooked meals without the stress of cooking. General meal prep is included in the hourly fee! This is your time to be taken care of.
Breastfeeding can be challenging! As a postpartum doula, I offer breastfeeding support to help you and your baby get started on the right foot. In addition, you’ll also receive help with newborn care, sibling care, dishes, laundry, grocery shopping, and anything else that might be overwhelming during this time. Through our planning session, we will work together to determine which areas of postpartum doula support will be most beneficial to you and your family.

Whether you need help for a few weeks or several months, I’m here to support you every step of the way. Let me help you make this postpartum transition as smooth and stress-free as possible.

Ensuring you get enough rest is crucial for your physical AND mental healing. That's where an overnight postpartum doula comes in! I offer overnight care that goes beyond just looking after your precious baby. Overnight doula support also includes expert infant care, helping with household tasks, meal preparation, and more. I understand that every family is unique, so I'll work closely with you to create the perfect overnight support plan tailored to your specific needs. Just imagine the joy of actually getting some uninterrupted rest and waking up to a clean home, a happy baby, and a warm breakfast with a comforting cup of hot tea (or coffee!). overnight postpartum doula services
During the initial consultation, we will discuss your general needs/expectations and ensure we are a great fit!
A second meeting will take place, during which we will complete a thorough postpartum doula support plan that will best serve your family. A 25% retainer fee will be due at this time. This will secure my availability for you as dates are first come first served. The remaining balance will be divided and due upon arrival of first shift each week.
